Aaron Bradshaw is transferring to Tennessee State, following his only season withMemphis basketball, according to multiple reports.
The senior 7-foot forward will play for Tennessee State head coach Nolan Smith, a former assistant coach onPenny Hardaway's Memphis staffduring the 2024-25 season.
Bradshawis one of six players to leave the Tigers this offseason via the transfer portal, joining Curtis Givens III, Ashton Hardaway, Simon Majok, Quante Berry and Arop Arop. Givens has signed with Ohio State, Majok with Nevada and Berry with Lamar. Ashton Hardaway and Arop are so far uncommitted.
The move continues a trend for Bradshaw since his college career began in 2024. He has never played multiple seasons with the same school. The former five-star recruit spent his freshman season at Kentucky under former Wildcats coach John Calipari, then transferred to Ohio State for his sophomore season.

Bradshaw (8.6 points, 4.2 rebounds per game on 53.6% shooting) played the best basketball of his career at Memphis, despite the team finishing 13-19 (the program's worst season in 56 years).
After a shaky start to his junior season (4.4 points and 1.2 rebounds through his first five games) and a late-season elbow injury curtailed his progress, the former 5-star recruit was blossoming. In the 19 games he played between the early rough patch and when he got hurt, Bradshaw averaged 10.8 points (59.2% from the field) and 5.4 rebounds. He also had 12 of his 16 blocks during that span.
Hardaway has reloaded his roster with a host of transfers, several incoming freshmen and a pair of returners. He has two roster spots that remain unclaimed.
