Skid continues in Indy: The scoreless drought ended but the losing streak didn't for Sporting Club Jacksonville men's soccer, going down 2-1 to the Indy Eleven in USL Championship on May 9 at Michael A. Carroll Stadium.
Al-Qaq finds net:After the team had gone scoreless for 523 consecutive minutes, Ahmad Al-Qaq finally ended the drought for Sporting Jax (0-8-1), putting away Emil Jaaskelainen's assist for a short-lived 45th-minute lead.
Indy races back:Again, Sporting Jax's struggles defending corner kicks proved fatal. Both Indy goals occurred following corners, with Bruno Rendon converting Aodhan Quinn's cross in the 51st minute and Anthony Herbert heading the 65th-minute game-winner.
